About Childcare Accountants

You tell us whether you run a nursery, work as a childminder, or employ a nanny, how you are set up, and what is outstanding. We come back with a fixed fee for the work and the date it has to be finished by. The quote is free and carries no obligation. Where your position is genuinely simple, we say so rather than quote for it.

Once the fee is agreed, anti-money-laundering identity checks come first, as they do at every UK practice. After that we ask for your records once, in a single list, rather than in a chain of emails around the working week.

We act for childcare providers and nanny employers, not for parents claiming Tax-Free Childcare or funded hours. Those are dealt with through the government's own service, and there is nothing an accountant adds to a parent's claim.

Tidy Money Ltd is regulated by the ACCA and holds no permission from the Financial Conduct Authority. We do the tax and the accounts, the funding, the VAT and the payroll, not investment or pension advice, and we do not sell tax-avoidance schemes.

Every rate, threshold and date comes from GOV.UK or an HMRC manual, and carries the date it was last checked. Childcare funding has changed a great deal recently, so where a figure moved we say so, and the funded-hours content is England, as Scotland and Wales run their own systems. Everything was last checked on 29 July 2026, and anything we could not confirm against a primary source is not on the site.
